What's included in the free plan?
The free plan includes full static analysis with over 85 built-in rules, multi-stack analysis, output in JSON, Table and Markdown formats, and CLI access. It is free forever with no credit card required.
How does the AI analysis work?
CDK Insights sends your synthesised CloudFormation template to our AI analysis engine, which evaluates your infrastructure against AWS best practices for security, cost optimisation, reliability, and performance. Results are returned with actionable recommendations ranked by severity. Your source code never leaves your machine — only the synthesised output is analysed.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your Pro or Team subscription at any time. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. When you cancel, you retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to the free plan.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payments are securely processed through Stripe. All prices are listed in GBP.
Is there a trial period?
The free plan is available indefinitely and requires no credit card, so you can evaluate CDK Insights static analysis at your own pace. For the Pro plan, we offer a free trial so you can experience AI-powered analysis before committing to a paid subscription.
How does team licensing work?
Team plans require a minimum of 3 licences and include 15,000 resources per team member per month. Each team member gets their own dashboard, and team administrators can manage members, assign roles, and view shared analytics across the organisation.
What AWS services does CDK Insights support?
CDK Insights analyses any resource in your synthesised CloudFormation template, covering all AWS services that CDK supports. This includes common services like S3, Lambda, IAM, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS, and many more. Our static analysis rules and AI engine are continuously updated to cover new services and best practices.
